Punjab education portal bags national award

Punjab government’s education portal — e-PunjabSchool — has bagged the national ‘e-India’ award.

The award was presented in e-India Education Summit at Hyderabad to Director General School Education Punjab Kahan Singh Pannu by IT Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Poonia Laxami, a Punjab Government spokesman said here.

The portal helps district and state officials to monitor student management like child tracking, student enrolment, academics and inspection.
